A jornada do São Paulo em busca da conquista inédita da Copa do Brasil pode começar a quase 4 mil km da capital paulista, na região amazônica. A CBF (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) divulgou o sistema do sorteio dos confrontos para a primeira fase do segundo torneio nacional e sinalizou os possíveis adversários do Tricolor. A definição dos duelos acontece na próxima sexta-feira (15), às 15h (horário de Brasília).

O clube do Morumbi está no Pote A, ao lado dos principais clubes do Brasileirão que não estão classificados para a Copa Libertadores do ano que vem. De acordo com o formato, o São Paulo enfrentará uma das equipes do Pote E. A definição das equipes que integram cada um dos oito potes foi feita seguindo o ranking anual da CBF, atualizado no fim desta temporada.

Desta forma, o time de Dorival Júnior enfrentará uma equipe entre a 67ª posição e a 92ª. Tendo em vista o aspecto logístico, o pior adversário seria o Nacional (80º), do Amazonas. Ainda há a possibilidade de encarar o Atlético (81º), do Acre, na capital Rio Branco. Ambos os clubes estão na região norte do país e o deslocamento aéreo demanda, no mínimo, cinco horas.

Na melhor das possibilidades, o São Paulo mediria forças com o Boavista (76º) ou com o Madureira (72º), ambos do Rio de Janeiro. O primeiro clube é da cidade de Saquarema, na Região dos Lagos, enquanto o segundo é homônimo do bairro onde está situado, na capital do estado do Rio de Janeiro. Ambos os deslocamentos podem ser feitos de avião e levam pouco menos de uma hora para serem concluídos. Os outros possíveis adversários são: Globo-RN (67º), Santos-AP (69º), Caxias (71º), Caldense (74º), Aparecidense (78°) e Parnahyba-PI (92°).

A Copa do Brasil é um dos poucos títulos que o São Paulo não tem em sua sala de troféus. No ano que vem, a CBF destinará R$ 50 milhões ao campeão da competição. Além do prêmio milionário, a edição 2018 do torneio mata-mata não terá o gol qualificado fora de casa em todas as suas fases. Como já tem sido recorrente no futebol brasileiro, os clubes que disputam a Copa Libertadores, além do campeão da Copa do Nordeste e da Copa Verde entram na competição na fase oitavas de final.

نجح الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي الاتحاد السكندري، في تحقيق الفوز الأول له على حساب أسوان، في افتتاحية بطولة الدوري المصري موسم 2022-2023.

واستضاف أسوان نظيره الاتحاد السكندري على ملعبه، في الجولة الأولى من عمر المسابقة المحلية.

وشهدت المباراة ندية بين الفريقين في وسط الملعب، ولكن لم تظهر أنياب هجومية طوال أحداث الشوط الأول.

وبدأ الشوط الثاني بحماس أكبر من جانب أسوان، ولكن رد الاتحاد بهجمة خطيرة عن طريق اللاعب أوستن أموتو بعد انفراد كامل بالمرمى داخل منطقة الجزاء، وسدد كرة قوية ولكن تصدى لها الحارس عمرو حسام ببراعة.

Daily Mail journalist Craig Hope has revealed that the Magpies are now set to miss out on a deal to bring in the England international ahead of Monday’s deadline.

He Tweeted: “Talks have taken place in past 24 hours. Never say never, but I’m told Henderson/NUFC now looks unlikely.”

This came after his previous Tweet: “I’m told there is a strong chance of goalkeeper Dean Henderson joining Newcastle on loan from Manchester United.”

talkSPORT produced an update of their own earlier in the day – claiming that Eddie Howe is ‘unconvinced’ by current first-choice Martin Dubravka.

Howe will, therefore, surely be fuming with Hope’s claim on the club being unable to secure the signing of Henderson on loan.

If he is not happy with the Slovakian being his number one goalkeeper then he would have been delighted to bring in another player to take his place ahead of the deadline.

Last season, Henderson averaged a SofaScore rating of 6.94 as he kept four clean sheets in 12 Premier League appearances for Manchester United. In the 2019/20 campaign, he recorded a score of 7.00 and ended the year on 13 shutouts in 36 matches on loan to Sheffield United.

Dubravka, meanwhile, has kept two clean sheets and averaged a score of 6.87 this term. This suggests that, on current form, the Red Devils shot-stopper could be an upgrade on the current Magpies ‘keeper, which is why this could be an excellent signing for the club on loan until the end of the campaign.

At the age of 24, Henderson also has the potential to improve in the future. This means that he could be Howe’s long-term number one and be between the sticks for Newcastle for years to come, whereas Dubravka (33) is at the other end of his career.

Therefore, the Toon could be missing out on a player with the potential to have a short and long-term benefit to the club, as he could have been open to a permanent move at the end of the loan. Although, it remains to be seen whether or not that would have been possible.

Henderson’s short-term impact and what he could have offered to Howe is why he will be fuming with this news, particularly given his distaste for having Dubravka as his first-choice. It will be interesting to see if the Magpies now look to bring in an alternative option before the deadline…

With James Anderson bowling himself back into rhythm, claiming a confidence-boosting brace, it was tough for the visitors who had performed so admirably on Friday but are still 69 runs away from saving the follow-on.English bowling attacks always look far more threatening when they have overhead conditions to help them and they were transformed from the below-par performance of the previous afternoon. Finn was given his favoured Pavilion End and reaped the rewards by causing continued problems with his bounce, while Anderson began to rediscover his outswinger.With a view to the future it was Finn’s performance that was most eye-catching. Significantly he was handed the second new ball and struck with his second delivery to remove the stubborn Mushfiqur Rahim as one nipped between bat and pad, not dissimilar to now Glenn McGrath, Finn’s idol, took many of his wickets at Lord’s.It wasn’t until 3.20pm that the players managed to take the field and England were clearly keen to take advantage of the conditions, but had also talked about their tactics as the lengths were much better. Desde o fim de 2015 até o fim de 2017, período que passou sem tirar férias, Bruno Henrique fez 90 partidas: 40 pelo Corinthians, 33 pelo Palermo (ITA) e 17 pelo Palmeiras. Finalmente “descansado”, o volante projeta um 2018 sem os altos e baixos de seus primeiros meses no Palestra Itália.

– Eu não sou de ficar falando muito nisso, até para não parecer desculpa, mas o corpo, realmente, sentiu o cansaço. Fui ao Palermo no meio da temporada aqui (agosto de 2016) e no começo de lá. No fim da temporada italiana (junho de 2017), voltei ao Brasil no meio dos campeonatos. Não é fácil, até porque o futebol italiano exige muito. Lá o ritmo é intenso e eu joguei praticamente todas as partidas. Nos últimos meses aqui acabei sentindo bastante o cansaço, o que é natural, mas agora estou descansando bem para fazer um ótimo 2018 – disse o jogador de 28 anos, em entrevista ao LANCE!.

Com dinheiro da Crefisa, o Palmeiras comprou Bruno Henrique por cerca de R$ 14 milhões. O ex-corintiano chegou com o aval de Cuca, que o escalava frequentemente como titular. Foi assim, por exemplo, nas duas partidas contra o Barcelona de Guayaquil (ECU), pelas oitavas de final da Libertadores.

Mas Bruno, que já havia cometido um pênalti na derrota em casa para o Corinthians, perdeu um dos pênaltis que eliminaram o Verdão da competição continental, passou a ser criticado por parte da torcida e terminou o ano no banco – nem foi utilizado nos últimos cinco jogos com Alberto Valentim.

– Meu primeiro jogo pelo Palmeiras foi em julho e o último em novembro. Não fiz nem 20 partidas. Acredito que comecei bem, mas depois tive uma queda natural devido ao cansaço e ao longo tempo sem férias. Todo período de readaptação leva um tempo. Na Itália, o estilo de jogo é bem diferente do que praticamos no Brasil e precisei me reabituar. Acredito que comecei bem, mas depois o corpo sentiu um pouco o longo tempo sem férias e o meu rendimento caiu – analisou o atleta.

O Palmeiras não contratou nenhum volante nesta janela, mas a concorrência segue grande. Felipe Melo, Thiago Santos e Jean seguem no grupo, mas Bruno Henrique prefere enxergar isso com bons olhos.

– Nosso elenco é muito qualificado e a diretoria está trabalhando com seriedade para deixar o grupo ainda mais forte. Estou bastante animado e confiante para 2018. Os jogadores que chegaram já provaram o seu valor em outros times e irão nos ajudar demais. A torcida pode esperar um Palmeiras muito forte ano que vem.

LANCE!: Quais são as diferenças entre jogar no Corinthians e no Palmeiras?
Bruno Henrique: São dois grandes clubes e eu evito comparar. O que posso dizer é que estou muito feliz no Palmeiras. A estrutura é de primeiro nível, a torcida é fantástica e todos me receberam muito bem.

Por que você decidiu retornar tão rápido da Itália?
Eu estava muito bem adaptado por lá e feliz no Palermo. A ideia não era voltar, mas quando chegou a proposta do Palmeiras, não pensei duas vezes. É um dos principais clubes do mundo e o projeto da diretoria é muito ambicioso. Quero fazer parte disso, ajudar o clube a conquistar os objetivos e deixar o meu nome marcado na história do Palmeiras.

Mesmo chegando no meio da temporada, você trabalhou com dois treinadores no Palmeiras. Essas trocas foram as principais responsáveis pelo ano sem títulos?
Não sei se somente as trocas foram as responsáveis pelo ano sem título. Acredito que foi um conjunto de fatores. Havia uma expectativa muito grande pela conquista da Libertadores e isso acabou atrapalhando um pouco. Tenho certeza que tanto o clube como nós, jogadores, aprendemos muito com o que passamos em 2017 e na próxima temporada voltaremos mais fortes em busca dos nossos objetivos.

علّق كريستيانو رونالدو، نجم مانشستر يونايتد، على عودته إلى تدريبات الفريق الأول رفقة زملائه بعد انتهاء عقوبته المفروضة عليه من المدرب إريك تين هاج.

وكان تين هاج قد قرر معاقبة رونالدو بمنعه من المشاركة في مباراة السبت الماضي ضد تشيلسي، والتدرب بمفرده بعيدًا عن الفريق الأول.

وجاءت تلك العقوبة بسبب تصرف رونالدو ضد توتنهام، الأسبوع الماضي، حيث رفض المشاركة كبديل وغادر ملعب المباراة قبل صافرة النهاية.

ولكن الأمر قد انتهى حيث عاد رونالدو من جديد إلى تدريبات الفريق الأول، في مانشستر يونايتد، أمس الثلاثاء استعدادًا لملاقاة مباراة الغد ضد شيريف في الدوري الأوروبي.

ونشر رونالدو صورة له خلال التدريبات، وكتب: “العودة إلى المسار الصحيح، بنفس الالتزام والتفاني كما هو الحال دائمًا!”.

Liverpool’s Takumi Minamino is ‘desperate’ to stay at Anfield beyond the January transfer deadline, as per Goal’s Neil Jones. 

Minamino’s prospects in L4 may have taken a further hit with the signing of £37m attacker Luis Diaz from FC Porto. The Japanese forward is yet to start a Premier League game this season, and now he faces more big-money competition.

Reports after Diaz’s arrival suggested that Liverpool would listen to offers for Minamino and Divock Origi in the final days of the window.

However, the former seems to have no interest in moving elsewhere, and Jones wrote on his Facebook page that the Reds have rebuffed ‘initial interest’ from AS Monaco and Leeds United in any case.

Minamino has played a key role in Liverpool’s run to the final of the Carabao Cup, scoring four goals in their five matches in the competition, including a late equaliser to force a penalty shoot-out against Leicester City in the quarter-finals.
