تمكن الدولي الأرجنتيني، ليونيل ميسي، نجم هجوم برشلونة، من إحراز الهدف الثالث للنادي الكتالوني في مرمى ريال بيتيس، بالدوري الإسباني.

كشف مهاجم الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي أتلتيكو مدريد، لويس سواريز، عن إمكانية احتفاله إذا ما سجل في مرمى برشلونة بالمباراة التي ستجمع العملاقين بعد انتهاء التوقف الدولي في بطولة الدوري الإسباني.

ويحل برشلونة ضيفًا يوم 21 نوفمبر الجاري على ملعب “واندا متروبوليتانو”، وستشهد المباراة أولى مواجهات سواريز لناديه السابق الذي رحل عنه في الميركاتو الصيفي.

وتحدث سواريز في البداية خلال حواره مع صحيفة “آس” الإسبانية عن قدرة أتلتيكو مدريد في منافسة ريال مدريد وبرشلونة على الألقاب، وقال: “واقع كرة القدم هو أننا كفريق ننافس منذ سنوات على القمة”.

وتابع: “لم يكن أتلتيكو مدريد محظوظًا بشكل كاف للفوز بالألقاب خاصة مع خسارة بعض النهائيات، لكن الفريق فاز بلقب الدوري قبل بضع سنوات”.

وعن مواجهة برشلونة بعد التوقف الدولي وهل سيحتفل إذا ما سجل؟، رد: “لن أحتفل، احترامًا لزملائي في الفريق والنادي الذي قدم لي الكثير، سيكون شيئًا خاصًا بالنسبة لي مواجهة العديد من الأصدقاء، لكنني سأدافع عن قميص أتلتيكو مدريد حتى الموت كما فعلت مع أي فريق سبق ولعبت معه”.

وانتقل سواريز للحديث عن استقالة بارتوميو من رئاسة برشلونة وما كان شعوره وقتها: “الحقيقة هي أن كل ما يحدث في برشلونة لا يشغلني، لأنني اليوم في أتلتيكو مدريد لذلك لا أحبذ الدخول في الأمور هناك”.

وعن المنافسة على لقب هداف الدوري الإسباني: “رقم قد يساعد أتلتيكو مدريد للمنافسة على القمة، وهو هدفنا الأهم، إذا كان الأمر يتعلق بالفعل بتسجيل الأهداف لأنه شيء مهم للمهاجم ولكنني لست مهووسًا به”.

Noel Whelan has hinted in an interview with Football Insider that Leeds could make a move for Aston Villa’s Albert Adomah this summer.

What’s he said?

Adomah was one of the star’s of the Championship last season, scoring 14 goals and claiming a further five assists in 42 matches.

However, he’s struggled this term, finding the net on just four occasions – one of which was a rather farcical goal against the club he’s been linked with, Leeds.

Adomah was the lucky benefactor of Marcelo Bielsa allowing the Villans to score last weekend after their controversial opener when Jonathan Kodjia was down injured.

Leeds initially showed an interest in the winger last August, according to Birmingham Live. The same publication then reported that Villa had rejected bids from two Championship clubs for the player earlier this year.

But, pundit Whelan reckons Leeds still have an interest. Speaking to Football Insider he said:

“He’s really dangerous, like so many of the Villa players, and would certainly strengthen Leeds’ team. We’ve looked at him a few times and I wouldn’t be surprised if we look at him again, especially with his contract close to running out.

“Villa know this is their last chance to get a decent price for him and that could give Leeds and a few other clubs a chance. I’m a big fan of his. He scores and creates goals, he’s quick, direct, good feet, and hurts teams.”

Villa should relish seeing him leave

Adomah may have had a stunning campaign last term but at the age of 31, it’s clear he’s now past his peak. As such, Villa fans should be biting their hands off at a possible departure.

The wide man has been hugely inconsistent this season and if the club get promoted to the Premier League then they’ll need greater quality.

It’s true that he’s a dangerous player but he doesn’t show it on enough occasions to warrant a new contract. As such, the club should have no concerns about seeing him leave over the summer if Leeds followed up on their interest.

Given Adomah’s deal ends in 2020, then Dean Smith must be looking to cash in on him when the window opens. The player isn’t getting younger and this might represent the final chance to actually get a worthwhile fee.

The Premier League sharks are starting to circle around Bournemouth and Ryan Fraser — and it is not difficult to understand why.

Following a season where only Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has created more goals, it is only natural that teams higher up the table are looking at the 25-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window.

And Chelsea themselves, according to the Daily Mail, are said to be one of the teams interested in Fraser’s services.

As well as Maurizio Sarri’s side, Newcastle United are also believed to be keen on the Scotland international, though it is hard to imagine why he would ditch the Vitality Stadium for St. James’ Park.

There is no denying Newcastle’s status as a big club. And under a coach like Rafael Benitez, under the right circumstances, the Tyneside club could easily be challenging for Europe.

But those circumstances are not there, leaving Newcastle at around the same level as Bournemouth, making a move there a career side step for Fraser.

At Newcastle, Fraser is likely to get more minutes than what he would get at an outfit like Chelsea or Arsenal.

But if simply playing is enough, then the former Aberdeen man might as well put pen to paper on a new deal and stay at Bournemouth.

No, instead, if Fraser really is looking to leave the Cherries, then he should be aiming to test himself at a higher level.

Moussa Sissoko is suddenly one of the stars of the richly cinematic Tottenham show. It’s not quite a rags to riches tale but the scale of his transformation in north London is unrivalled.

Suddenly he is one of the first names on the teamsheet; the beating heart of Tottenham’s midfield; a fundamental cog in the system.

Mauricio Pochettino has a string of fine individuals who are all capable of slotting in alongside him to form either a two or three man midfield, including Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Harry Winks, Victor Wanyama, Eric Dier and Oliver Skipp.

Yet the multitude of options available to the Argentine are doing nothing to deter the club’s interest in signing a new creative midfielder this summer.

Links with Jack Grealish in recent times have arrived at a regularity the London tube system would be proud of, but the 23-year-old is not being considered in isolation.

Indeed, according to a recent report from the Daily Mail, Spurs are one of the clubs monitoring Julian Brandt’s situation at Bayer Leverkusen. The existence of a £21.5 million release clause is a factor that will plaster a wry smile on Daniel Levy’s face and quench his insatiable thirst for a hard bargain.

Meanwhile, according to a recent report from the Daily Mirror, Grealish’s release clause is about as enticing as a trip to the Europa League final in Baku at a whopping £60 million.

Both players have the potential to blossom into top Premier League footballers at Tottenham but, considering their respective statistics and release clauses, there’s no question the Germany international should be the priority this summer.

A quick glance at the statistics reveals the endeavours of two players with similar contributions in the attacking third. The most pertinent difference to note, however, is that Grealish has been playing second tier football while Brandt has been thriving in the Bundesliga.

Leverkusen’s creative hub has undergone something of a stylistic transformation this season, moving infield from the left wing to operate as a play-making central midfielder, a transition which has been both seamless and eye-catching.

At Tottenham – where Sissoko provides the engine and anticipation to break up play and simultaneously offer a dynamic style of dribbling to dissect the opponent – Brandt could slot in alongside the Frenchman in a three man midfield which incorporates one of Winks, Dier or Wanyama in a holding role.

It would be a perfect blend of power, precision, incision, speed and ingenuity to supplement the strengths of both Brandt and Sissoko.

Grealish, of course, is attracting interest from the Champions League finalists on solid grounds, but his statistics do not vindicate a release clause which is almost three times more than a player who kept Leroy Sane out of Joachim Lowe’s Germany World Cup squad last year.

Pochettino could add a serious layer of quality to his midfield with a summer swoop for Brandt.

وعن الاتهامات لمنتخب مصر بشأن معسكر الإقامة والإجراءات، رد قائلاً: “لماذا يكون هناك اتهامات لنا في منتخب مصر؟، خلال الأربع السنوات الماضية حققنا نتائج جيدة، لا أعرف من أين تأتي الاتهامات”.

وواصل: “كنا نعلن عن كل شيء أول بأول، الذي حدث مع المنتخب في 16 يوم الماضيين لم يحدث في أي فريق كرة قدم في مصر، طبقنا الإجراءات الاحترازية في معسكر المنتخب وفق المعايير الدولية، وجزء منهم اشتراطات الفيفا بشأن فيروس كورونا”.

وعن غضب مسئولي أندية ليفربول وأرسنال وأولمبياكوس، بعد إصابة صلاح والنني وكوكا بفيروس كورونا، قال: “بالعكس تمامًا.. سيغضبون لو شعروا أن هناك عدم مصداقية أو تعامل احترافي، الكل يشكرنا وسعيد جدًا بسرعة رد الفعل ومن الإجراءات التي تمت، البروتوكول المصري محترم جدًا، وعندما يعرض عليّ أحد الناس تقدره جدًا، لم أسمع غير كلمة ممتاز وشكرًا من أطباء الأندية الثلاثة”.

استكمل: “سمعت بعد عودتنا لـ مصر أن طبيب منتخب مصر أخطىء في مدة علاج طاهر محمد طاهر، وأبلغنا طبيب الأهلي بإصابة اللاعب، ويحتاج على الأقل 3 أسابيع للتعافي، ومتبقي له أسبوع”.

وأضاف: “محمد هاني سيلحق بمباراة نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا”.

واختتم: “كوكا سيغادر إلى اليونان عند تحول المسحة من إيجابية لـ سلبية، وهذا باتقافه مع ناديه”.
