It was reported before deadline day by Fabrizio Romano that Wolves are chasing a deal to sign Dynamo Kyiv ace Volodymyr Brazkho. The Premier League side have made an offer for the player worth £16.7 million, and Brazkho is keen on moving to England and the Premier League. However, there have been no developments on that potential deal, with Wolves concentrating on other signings.

It was reported earlier on Monday morning that Wolves had made a “crazy offer” to sign Marshall Munetsi from Stade de Reims. Now, in a further update from Sky Sports, the Premier League side have agreed a deal in principle to sign Munetsi, with his medical now set to take place in the afternoon. But they have not just agreed a deal to sign Munetsi; the Midlands side have also agreed a deal to sign Nasser Djiga from Red Star Belgrade. The defender is now going to meet Wolves officials in France and undergo a medical before a deal is completed, meaning Wolves sign both a defender and a midfielder as they wanted to do.

However, Dija is not the only defender who could arrive at Molineux today, as according to reliable reporter John Percy of The Telegraph, Wolves and Leicester City are in talks over a surprise swap deal involving Conor Coady and Craig Dawson.

Percy goes on to add that a deal isn’t agreed between the two clubs yet, as discussions are at an early stage, but if it goes through, it would be a straight swap deal, Coady moving back to Molineux and Dawson going to the King Power Stadium.

Coady, who has been labelled “infectious” by Gareth Southgate in the past, joined the Foxes in August 2023 after their relegation to the Championship. The centre-back played just 12 games as Leicester won the Championship title to secure promotion. This season has been more effective for Coady, as he’s played 10 games in the Premier League, eight of which have come as starts, and they have all come in the last 12 games.

However, the 31-year-old has been on the bench in three of the last four games under Ruud van Nistelrooy, as he’s preferred Wout Faes and Jannick Vestergaard. Therefore, a move this month makes sense, and returning to Wolves seems ideal for the player, as he had some excellent seasons with the Midlands side.

Coady could join Toti, Emmanuel Agbadou, Santiago Bueno, Yerson Mosquera, and Bastien Meupiyou as Wolves’ centre-back options should he sign for Wolves, and given his experience and leadership qualities, he may well be a main starter in Pereira’s side.

A world record unbeaten 203-run partnership that was devastating in its brutality and yet delectable in its beauty saw Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam chase down 200 against England with three balls to spare, and without the loss of a single wicket. Babar scored his second T20I hundred, taking 62 balls to get there, while Rizwan’s unbeaten 51-ball 88 was a more than adequate supporting act.The wicket seemed to play especially slow in the first innings, so the 199 England put up looked well above par at the time. That came thanks to two contrasting innings from the England middle order, with Ben Duckett’s pragmatic shot-making setting a platform, before Moeen Ali’s furious elegance saw him caress an undefeated 55 off 23. Given Babar had said at the toss 160 would be the upper limit of what Pakistan wanted to chase, England looked invulnerable.But for all of Pakistan’s strike rate issues up the order, there has never been any evidence Babar and Rizwan aren’t at their best when chasing a total, no matter what that total might be. They did, after all, gun down 204 against South Africa in April 2021 with a 197-run partnership, and they were more than up for the relentlessly attacking cricket they would have to subject England’s bowling to. A brief quiet spell following the powerplay saw the asking rate creep up, but when Moeen put himself on in the 13th over, the tide turned decisively. Leeds United are in transfer talks to sell a “League One” player to a European club for £5 million, according to a recent report.

On Tuesday night, Daniel Farke’s men put in a very impressive display as they beat Watford 4-0 at Vicarage Road to continue their lead over Sheffield United and Burnley. The win kept Leeds five points clear of the Clarets in third place but Farke is keen for his side to guard against complacency.

“It is so far so good. After 32 game days, to be there with 59 points is outstanding, but judgement is in May when we have played 46 games.

“We know we have a good momentum and are in great shape, but we have to use and ride this moment and keep going. For that, we want to keep this momentum, stay awake, and stay on it. We have to stay focused and professional,” Farke told BBC Radio Leeds after the win over Watford.

Away from matters on the pitch, Leeds are already putting plans in place for the summer, as a report has stated that internal talks have been held over the possibility of signing James McAtee from Manchester City. The Whites could look to make a move in the summer, but only if they are promoted to the Premier League.

But it is not just arrivals that Leeds are discussing, as according to Bild, relayed by Sport Witness, Leeds are in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over the sale of Rasmus Kristensen.

The 27-year-old joined the Bundesliga outfit on loan from Leeds during the summer transfer window. As well as the loan, there was a €15 million buy option included in the deal. Kristensen has been an important player for Frankfurt, so they are keen to sign him on a permanent basis, but they are now looking to pay under €10 million.

In fact, they want to pay around €6 million (£5 million) and are in negotiations with Leeds over completing the transfer.

Kristensen has played 18 times for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, starting all but one of those, and in that time has scored one goal and recorded two assists. This is the defender’s second loan spell away from Elland Road, as he spent last season on loan at Italian side AS Roma.

Kristensen has played just 30 times for the Whites, and they all came in the 2022/23 campaign, where Leeds were relegated to the Championship. His time at Elland Road has been very disappointing, with Leeds content creator Conor McGilligan labelling him as a “League One” standard player.

Therefore, Leeds will probably be happy to see Kristensen leave on a permanent basis, even for a lower fee than they originally agreed.
